Can a business be financially successful by being a good corporate citizen, giving back to the community and building long-term relationships with clients?
There are many stories of businesses doing just the opposite – taking everything they can from their clients and communities. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Do what’s best for your clients even if that means referring them to a competitor. Start by truly understanding your clients’ needs. If your product or service is the best fit, then by all means sell it to them. If it’s not, do what is right and reap the benefits.
