Welcome to the world of Generation X. For a small – and supposedly lost – generation, Xers are now assuming positions of power, and many of them are doing so in companies they founded. In fact, according to Forbes, 55% of startup founders identify as members of Generation X.
This notoriously self-deprecating generation tends to “git ‘er done” without all the flash of those flanking it. To their credit, Xers have built the perfect bridge between boomers and millennials, moving easily from engaging their elders as they re-envision businesses to communicating with youngsters via online channels like Snapchat and Facebook.
