Years ago, I went through the Denver Metro Chamber’s Leadership Denver program. At the time, I was taking on a bunch of new responsibilities in my job, profession and community. I needed direction.
My nine-month experience as part of “the best class ever” was quite simply life-changing. We had fun seeing the behind-the-scenes workings of the city. We dug deep to explore difficult topics. We exchanged ideas and advice and became one another’s trusted confidants. It was an enlightening journey through which I learned, grew and met some terrific people who are now friends and mentors.
