Connecting co-ops throughout Colorado

Both employees and consumers have an interest in making businesses more accountable. Co-ops, or member-owned, member-operated enterprises, are becoming a popular way to accomplish this task. Their resurgence has led to new collaborative opportunities in Colorado.

Thanks to a new website, consumers can now locate co-ops in numerous industries. The site, Colorado.coop, has a search function that allows visitors to find co-ops near them. It also helps connect co-ops to employees.

The initiative was announced at the recent Colorado Shared Ownership Summit, where co-op leaders in numerous industries shared ideas and advice.
