The value of the arts to Denver can’t be denied when you look at the economic impact – literally millions in dollars, reach and attendance.
Based on a recent study by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, music, theater, dance and museums generate $512 million and create more than 10,000 jobs. Donor contributions are equally as high for programs, which reach nearly 4 million children.
Through the arts, tourists are attracted to our market, lifelong learning is instilled in children, and adults and our communities come alive with these cultural experiences. It all adds up to one word: priceless.
