The Colorado Symphony started a new series dedicated to helping attendees learn more about music. Listen/Hear, which kicks off November 9, is a set of casual sessions of live performances “threaded with thoughtful talk-throughs to help you understand and truly hear symphonic music.”
The first concert will decode the music of Bach, Mozart and Haydn — greats of the Baroque and Classical periods. The second concert will feature masters of the Romantic period, including Beethoven, while the third will pay homage to works of American composition. The final concert will focus on great modern composers.
Tickets start at $17.
