Enjoy original poetry, support Denver’s literary community and help kids who dream of being writers at one merry event, Christmas Poems, presented by Denver Writes.
Young, aspiring poets will sell their seasonal work at the festive fundraiser. All proceeds go to Denver Writes, a nonprofit that aids young writers ages 8-15. The organization provides an encouraging, supportive community and creative writing opportunities through monthly workshops, intensive summer camps, special events and free after-school tutoring.
The event will be held at BookBar on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 10AM-1PM. ‘Tis the season to give, share and do some good.
