Earth is home to a host of gloriously glowing creatures from fireflies and glowworms to plankton and vampire squid.
“Creatures of Light” at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science introduces museumgoers to all kinds of luminous creatures and phenomena in a series of environments from grassy meadows to the deep ocean. The exhibition explores how and why organisms glow through videos, animation, photos and iPads.
The exhibition runs through June 10 and is free with museum admission, which is $16.95 for adults and $11.95 for kids ages 3-18. The museum is open every day from 9AM-5PM.
