The Colorado agriculture industry will be showcased at “Ag Day at the Capitol,” on March 22.
Last year the event attracted more than 1,000 people to celebrate the contributions the ag industry makes to the state. More than $16 million was donated to local food banks in the year 2016.
The event will feature 13 chefs paired with local ag representatives in a cook-off competition of Colorado-grown foods. Attendees can enjoy the food and help support the local ag community’s efforts in feeding Colorado’s 5 million-plus people. Agriculture includes livestock, crop production and related agribusiness entities.
