This year, cinephiles and classic movie-lovers in Denver have been joining film critic Howie Movshovitz for the monthly “Tattered Cover Film Series,” presented by UCD’s College of Arts & Media, KUNC 91.5 and the Sie FilmCenter.
The next event takes place on April 1, presenting Jean Renoir’s “The Golden Coach.” The 1953 film set in 18th century Peru tells the story of a theatrical diva named Camilla in love with three men. Other upcoming screenings include “Viridiana” on May 6 and “Late Spring” on June 3.
Tickets are available from the Sie FilmCenter box office one hour before screenings.
