Hispanic Heritage Month

For centuries, Colorado has been enriched and positively impacted by the Latinos who call it home. Now through Oct. 15, celebrate their rich culture and history during Hispanic Heritage Month with these events:

• “Del Sur al Northe/From North to South,” an exhibition featuring works by Manuel Cordero, Mexican Cultural Center.

• “Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Americas,” the Mexican Cultural Center with the Colorado Symphony present traditional, classical and contemporary Latin music, Boettcher Concert Hall.

• “Self-Preservation,” a large-scale mural painted on-site by Anthony Garcia Sr. showing how different cultures work together to form community, History Colorado Center.
