Though Denver is more than 1,300 miles away from beautiful New Orleans, Denver spots are putting on some great events on March 2 in anticipation of Mardi Gras.
• Mythology Distillery is slinging New Orleans-inspired cocktails, using their own handcrafted spirits, including vieux carres, sazeracs and hurricanes alongside brass funk band The Royal Street Ramblers.
• Call to Arms is hosting a Mardi Gras Rumpus, featuring a crawfish boil, specialty beer releases, barbecue and the self-proclaimed “world’s tiniest Mardi Gras parade.”
• Stoney’s will be showcasing New Orleans food, selling whole king cakes, pralines and crawfish with all the fixings.
