A starry sky, beer in hand and great music – my kind of night. Fortunately, Colorado offers a variety of outdoor concert venues. Tops is the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. We usually get general admission – there’s no bad seat – and pack a picnic.
We also frequent Denver Botanic Gardens, Hudson Gardens, Fiddler’s Green, Chatfield Arboretum and even Clement Park, which regularly hosts free concerts. And even when there is an option for seats, we prefer to bring a blanket and park on the lawn. Be sure to bring an umbrella or rain ponchos so unpredictable weather doesn’t ruin your night!
