KSS: Girls in STEM

by

Keystone Science School’s (KSS) Girls in STEM program focuses on eliminating the gender gap within STEM careers.

Architecture is just one of the many sectors dominated by men. With this reality in mind, KSS is excited for a new partnership with SketchUp and Colorado Parks and Wildlife for its 2018 Girls in STEM: Build-A-Thon on March 17, which introduces girls in third through ninth grade to the world of architectural design.

The program not only teaches girls about architecture, but also how to thrive in a male-dominated profession. Participants and volunteers from across the state are welcome.
