One of Colorado’s most talked about breweries is opening a second location in Colorado Springs. Greeley-based WeldWerks Brewing Co. will open its new location this summer. The name and exact date of opening will be announced later.
The new taproom, which will pay homage to Colorado Springs’ history, will be in the Old Colorado City neighborhood at 3043 W. Pikes Peak Ave., a space formerly occupied by a diner.
The brewery joins other Colorado powerhouses that have opened second taproom locations, including Odell Brewing’s second location in Denver and Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project’s second location in Fort Collins.
