My family spent MLK weekend in beautiful Steamboat Springs. It was magic — a healthy snow base and a wide range of terrain to enjoy. There’d been recent snowfall and coupled with freezing overnight temps, the scenery was spectacular.
Snow clung to lift cables, and pines were caked with a thick icing of the white stuff. On the way out of town on Monday, we hit local favorite Winona’s for a hearty breakfast. You can’t go wrong with fast and friendly service and a ginormous cinnamon roll to share as an appetizer! Steamboat sparkles in a state full of resort gems.
