Known for it’s exceptional fishing, Eleven Mile State Park in Lake George offers a scenic escape for adventure seekers and nature lovers, on and off the water.
Anglers visiting Eleven Mile can fish for rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, Kokanee salmon and northern pike. The park permits daytime bowfishing, the use of a barbed arrow attached with a special line and reel to a bow or crossbow to catch fish. Ice fishing is also available in the winter.
The 3,400 acres of Eleven Mile also include camping, biking, hiking, kayaking and boating, with ideal wind conditions for sailing and windsurfing.
