Thanksgiving is almost here, launching us into a period of fun and feasting. Don’t let the season get the best of you. Start on the right foot by participating in a Thanksgiving Day community race.
The granddaddy of them all is the Mile High United Way’s Turkey Trot in Washington Park. With the motto of “Trot Now, Gobble Later,” this annual event celebrates its 43rd year. Run the four-mile race or try the one-mile fun run.
Don’t want to drive downtown? There are many others to choose from, including races in Broomfield, Littleton, Highlands Ranch and Parker.
