Heart disease accounts for 1 of every 4 deaths and in Colorado, nearly 3,000 people died of heart disease in 2016. February is Heart Month, so what better time to make sure your heart stays healthy?
Eat Smart. This doesn’t have to mean dieting or giving up foods you love. Ditch the junk and give your body the nutrient-dense fuel it needs.
Move more. Shoot for 150 minutes a week. Simply add a little more movement to your everyday routine.
Be well. Real health includes getting enough sleep, managing stress, keeping mind and body fit and connecting socially.
