Denver’s largest single-day music festival has just announced an expanded lineup, which is bigger than ever to commemorate its 25th anniversary. Westword Music Showcase, to be held June 29 in the Golden Triangle, will feature national acts including CHVRCHES, Bishop Briggs, Jai Wolf and The Knocks. As always, there will be a healthy showing of local acts.

The Colorado Symphony started a new series dedicated to helping attendees learn more about music. Listen/Hear, which kicks off November 9, is a set of casual sessions of live performances “threaded with thoughtful talk-throughs to help you understand and truly hear symphonic music.”
