Denver International is the fifth-largest airport in the country. Of course, it also happens to be one of the busiest.
To accommodate the high volume of visitors it receives on a daily basis, Denver International Airport is getting brand-new underground trains. Not only are the airport’s existing transit systems getting a makeover – the airport is also adding 10 additional cars to the route.
Bombardier Transportation will assume responsibility for the $68.9 million project. As of now, the endeavor is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.
Updates to the airport’s Great Hall have already begun.
