LoHi: Thriving Urban Lifestyle With Small-Town Charm

by Michael Polzella

LoHi is a diverse, charming neighborhood, which I know first-hand. It’s where I spent my early childhood.

Founded in 1858, LoHi has an assortment of Victorian and Queen Anne homes, bungalows and high-end lofts. The area is one of the most sought-after city-centered neighborhoods in the U.S. It offers boutiques, wine shops, bookstores, restaurants and live music venues. It is also home to one of the most famous ice cream shops in Colorado – Little Man Ice Cream.

It’s a great location for visitors – and the perfect place to live for someone seeking an urban lifestyle.
