Maybe Santa Will Bring a Job

The approaching holidays don’t mean you need to ice your job search. Employers are often preparing for a new year, or replacing an employee who left. And there are many opportunities to connect and discuss your job hunt with people on a casual basis, at neighborhood parties and family gatherings.

Take the time to sharpen your resume, as potential employers experiencing a holiday lull might be more open to meeting with strong candidates. And with fewer people actively seeking employment, the odds are in your favor.
