You Say Tomato, I Say Delicious

The end of summer is always bittersweet. But on the sweet side comes harvest time.

For Colorado gardeners, it can be a challenge to harvest tomatoes before the weather turns, and also know what to do with a good tomato yield! Leave your tomatoes on the vine for as long as possible, but if you have to harvest before they are ripe, remove the whole plant and hang it upside down in a cool place.

Nothing is better than a ripe, juicy, red tomato in a summer salad. Vegetables from your garden also make great gifts for neighbors and friends.
