Over in Littleton, you’ll find the sister site to the Denver Botanic Gardens in the city’s Cheesman Park neighborhood. This location is also where you’ll find the upcoming Lavender Festival, happening July 15-16. During this family-friendly event, you will find yourself in a sea of more than 2,000 stunning lavender plants.
During the festival, you’ll tour scenic Chatfield Farms, learn how to dye lavender, listen to live music, see work made by local artists and much more. Kids will also get to enjoy train rides and lavender-inspired crafts. Tickets must be purchased in advance on the Denver Botanic Gardens’ website.
