Head to Pagosa Springs from Sept. 20-22 for a colorful weekend unlike any other. On Friday, be sure to grab your tickets for the Passport to Pagosa Wine and Food Festival, a 21-and-up event for wine and foodie fans that’ll take place in Town Park. Those who prefer brews to vino will enjoy Saturday’s Bands & Brews Festival. Saturday also brings the 5K Color Run.

The highlight of the weekend takes place on both Saturday and Sunday mornings: The Mass Balloon Ascension sees over 40 hot air balloons take to the sky at 8 a.m. from downtown and float uptown.
