The Steamboat Ski Area welcomes the return of one of its most hilarious and fun traditions, the Cardboard Classic, on April 12. From 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., guests can watch as participants take to the slopes with homemade cardboard crafts made only of cardboard, glue, string, water-based paint, duct tape, masking tape, balloons and decorations.
Registration to compete in this fan-favorite event begins in late March. In addition to both an 18-and-over and 17-and-under race, participants have the opportunity to win awards, including Most Creative, Best Engineering and Best Costume, as well as being crowned Judge’s Choice or Crowd Favorite.
