Dine in comfort in this converted gondola

No need to give up outdoor dining in the winter when you can eat with your family or friends in a private dining car made from a converted gondola.

The Town of Mountain Village at the base of Telluride Ski Resort in Colorado is turning 20 gondolas into cozy dining cabins that will have heating, lighting and ventilation systems. Other weatherproof structures that can hold up to 24 people will also be installed in the Village Center.

Guests can select from the menus of 12 restaurants. Some will have food service to the gondolas while others will be takeout only.
