Denver’s real estate market is one of the most competitive in the nation, but a recent study by LendingTree highlights just how hard it has gotten to buy a home.
Denver ranks third in the country for the most competitive real estate markets due, in part, to the lack of homes for sale. In fact, the number of homes for sale reached an all-time low in December with less than 4,000 active listings.
The LendingTree study also attributed the competition to Denver’s high number of qualified homebuyers, who have preapproved loans, large down payments and good credit scores.
