For nearly 45 years, the 9News Parade of Lights has dazzled spectators and participants in Denver. 2018’s event, which takes place on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, should be no different.
Forty units, including illuminated floats, gigantic character balloons and marching bands from throughout the region, will participate in the nighttime extravaganza, which follows a two-mile route through downtown.
The event, which begins at Civic Center Park, is made possible by more than 500 volunteers, who work as grandstand managers and offer parade production assistance. Tickets for the parade are $19 for adults and $16 for children under 12.
