Banish Brain Clutter

by

On a deadline but can’t finish the job? Having trouble focusing on the presentation? Brain clutter is real, and here are a few things to try when you experience it.

• Take a shower. The physical act of washing away stress, clutter and confusion can offer a reset when needed.

• Write it down, then throw it out. Negative thoughts consuming you? Write them down, sort them out and then throw it all away.

• Run away with music. Exercising to a soundtrack activates your frontal lobe.

• Take a nap. Just 10 minutes of shut-eye can increase alertness and productivity.

Much better!
