Never heard of a “promposal”? Oh, it’s real. My son, the master of the grand gesture, once asked a girl to prom during marine biology class. He had replaced the liner in one of the fish tanks with a sign that read, “Of all the fish in the sea, will you go to prom with me?”
Clever ideas abound. Ask a tennis player by spelling out “Prom” with tennis balls stuck into the fence around the court. Write the invitation on a giant cookie or pizza. Use sidewalk chalk to ask that special runner to prom. The sky’s the limit.
