Rosé has been summer’s drink for a few years with no signs of slowing down. Westminster-based Wine Education Institute founder Barney Treadway shares three rosés sold in Colorado for less than $15:
Casa Santos Lima ‘Lab’ Rosé: “From a region generally only known for its Vinho Verde, this rosé has flavors of ripe strawberry and tangy nectarine.”
Bougrier Rosé d’Anjou: “A good option for rosé newcomers who want to stretch their wine wings.”
Armas de Guerra Bierzo Rosado: “From 50-year-old vines at 2,000-feet elevation, it’s one of the lightest rosés you’ll ever taste.”
