Time to don the lederhosen. Denver Oktoberfest is coming up. Running Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22-23 and Sept. 29-30, this long-standing Denver festival draws 350,000+.
There’s plenty of beer, with Märzen lager being the traditional pick. Starting at 11:00AM, polka dance, listen to live music and eat Bavarian food. Pick up a stein for beer, since it’ll come in handy during the strength test, where contestants hold out filled steins in front of them for endurance.
Though you need to buy a ticket for alcohol, admission is free. Why not get in on tradition?
