Denver Food Rescue is putting fresh food on Coloradans’ tables this holiday season

by The 100 Companies

As the season of giving approaches, with Giving Tuesday today and Colorado Gives Day on Dec. 6, Denver Food Rescue is seeking support in putting meals on the tables of Denver families.

Unlike food banks, which often can’t transport perishable food, Denver Food Rescue relies on its team of volunteers to deliver fresh produce – that would otherwise be thrown away – to struggling families, providing health equity and food security for all.

Denver Food Rescue has an ongoing Colorado Gives Day fundraiser to donate to, but they’re also looking for more volunteers to help them make deliveries this holiday season.
