There are thousands trying our best to limit carbs in hopes of losing a few pounds and keeping our health in check. Beware of the almighty banana! I have never really researched carbs, so I was a bit surprised to find ol’ Chiquita packed some carb punch.
We often think of carbs as the obvious — breads, pasta and grains, but they are everywhere! So if you’re trying to cut your carbs, pay attention to fruit (and yes or better “no,” to those incredibly delicious bananas), condiments, cashews, sundried tomatoes, corn and starchy root vegetables like carrots and beets.
