Millennials and Ethics at Work

Millennials tend to handle ethics differently at work than other generations. They are prepared for these issues, though.

In fact, one recent study shows that millennials are more likely to consult coworkers or families about unethical behavior at work and report instances as much as other generations. However, what counts as unethical is looser under younger workers, who tend to integrate personal and professional life. This generation tends to believe that the ends justify the means.

However, millennials need companies to lay out an ethics program that can guide them while reducing the fear of retribution for reporting ethical issues.
