REI’s Rocktoberfest Climbing Festival on October 14 is a rock climbers’ paradise, whether you’re a beginner or expert climber.
The lineup includes free skills clinics, climbing vendors, gear demos, giveaways, a 5.13 climbing challenge, music by Discosapien, brews by Denver Beer Company and more. Lynn Hill, who changed the definition of what’s possible in rock climbing with her first free ascent of El Capitan’s The Nose, will be giving an electric presentation.
The event is free and will be at the REI on 1416 Platte Street in Denver. Proceeds from the beer will support the Front Range Climbing Stewards.
