Mario Kart race

Stockpile your blue shells, bombs and banana peels and get ready to drive in a real-life Mario Kart race when Mushroom Rally hosts a one-day race in Denver on April 6.

About 600 drivers, dressed as their favorite Mario Kart characters, will zoom around the track in multiple 30-minute heats. They’ll collect stars along the way, which can be converted into prizes. The top racer from Denver will join the winners from 15 other cities for the Mushroom Rally Finals in Las Vegas.

Tickets cost $55 and are almost sold out. Don’t get left in the dust.
