A Downtown Denver NYE tradition

For the 17th year in a row, the skies of Downtown Denver will be lit up with fireworks on New Year’s Eve to ring in the New Year.

The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Downtown event will include two fireworks shows: 9 p.m., for those who prioritize sleep, and midnight, for those who want to celebrate the official start of 2019. Both shows are identical and will run approximately eight minutes.

Viewers can stand anywhere along the 16th Street Mall to view the fireworks, where there will also be DJs playing music from 8 p.m. through the midnight show.
