Each spring, I have hope. I hope that someday, all children will enjoy a blessed childhood and chance to be safe, fed, warm, educated and loved. Unfortunately, for 11,000 Colorado children that’s not the case, and that’s why I’m a CASA volunteer.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Abuse and neglect are happening in every – yes, EVERY – community. We must be strong voices for our most vulnerable. Support the children at CASA Jeffco/Gilpin’s Champions for Children Breakfast April 13, 7:30 AM, at Denver West Marriott. Attend. Donate. Volunteer.
