From Breckenridge to Great Divide, Denver boasts many great breweries. So it should be no surprise that SmartAsset rated Denver number eight on its list of “The Best Cities for Beer Drinkers – 2017 Edition.”
The list, which came out in late December, looked at data from more than 300 cities. It rated each city based on factors like number of microbreweries and brewpubs per 100,000 residents, average Yelp score of breweries and the average price for a pint of domestic beer.
Denver ranked second overall with 69 breweries, while its 9.96 breweries per 100,000 residents ranked 11th.

denver has a lot of very good breweries, but so does the whole state of colorado. some of my favorites are in colorado springs, where i live. there are many breweries on the front range and just about every ski area has breweries. beer is doing very well here.
