In 1911, the Lammermann family established what’s today the oldest remaining greenhouse in Denver. Originally founded for cut flower production, the Lammermanns’ greenhouse would continue on this path until the 1970s, when it blossomed even further. The little greenhouse became a garden center and a tree nursery as well.
Over time, City Floral and its brand-named plants and plant-related products became known throughout Denver. Though City Floral has grown significantly since its early days, with its most recent expansion into a decommissioned substation in 2017 more than tripling its size, City Floral has always stayed true to its Denver roots.
