Live like royalty and learn the “sport of kings” at The Broadmoor during World Falconry Day on Nov. 16.
The once-in-a-lifetime falconry experience begins with an introduction to the birds, including Harris’s hawks, Saker falcons and a Eurasian eagle owl. The master falconer will point out identifying characteristics of each bird, discuss conservation efforts and share the 4,000-year history and culture of the sport. Then, head to the field to see the birds in flight, learn about training methods and hold one of the majestic birds.
