Asheville’s Thirsty Monk Coming to Denver

Thirsty Monk in Denver

Thirsty Monk, an Asheville-based Belgian brewery, is expanding to Denver and Portland with self-proclaimed “pocket breweries.”

According to CEO Barry Bialik, the new drinking spot will “operate as a true local brewery and pub,” embracing the food and beer culture in Denver. In addition to brewing Thirsty Monk beers, head brewer Brian Grace – former Crooked Stave head brewer – will spearhead the creation of open fermentation, barrel aging and sour programs.

The new Denver location will open in the former Deep Draft Brewing building in City Park West along “Restaurant Row.” The brewery is expected to open by Thanksgiving.
