There is something extra special about watching a movie at the Historic Park Theatre, one of the oldest movie theaters today.
In operation since 1913, this theater has a signature 80-foot neon outlined tower, added to the original building in 1922. Tower of Love, as some called it, was built for the owner’s love who jilted him at the altar.
The oldest theater in Colorado, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It maintained its historic charm, even with the new screens and surround sound system. History and modern entertainment come together with every visit.
