Encourage your kids to keep their noses buried in books with the Youth One Book, One Denver summer reading program. This year’s book selection is “Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus” by Dusti Bowling.
Now in its seventh year, the program aims to fight summer learning loss with fun, educational programming. It provides a shared reading experience for kids ages 9-12 with activities and events tied to the book’s themes.
From now through August, kids can participate in summer writing programs, lunch and learn sessions and summer camps. Download the complimentary adventure guide now, and get reading.
