The National Western Stock Show kicks off Sat., Jan. 7, 2017, and runs for 16 action-packed days. Pro rodeo? Check. Junior livestock competitions? Yep. Hunter-jumper events? You bet!
Stock Show is celebrating 111 years in Denver with nearly 30 professional rodeo performances, world-class horse shows and the “Super Bowl” of livestock shows. The event pumps almost $100 million into the Denver area and raises roughly $400,000 in scholarship money, which is distributed to students studying the fields of agriculture and rural medicine.
