Hiking recently with family, we paused to look towards the city. It was a beautiful, blue-sky day, and I remarked that Queen City of the Plains was a fitting nickname. They agreed.
The National Western Stock Show has helped define Denver for more than a century, but the city is so much more. Home to the nation’s largest non-profit theater complex, a thriving restaurant scene and world-class history and art museums, Denver has plenty to do between work and play.
Denver has truly transcended its beginnings as a bawdy frontier town defined by cattlemen and the railroad.
