In my biased opinion, Colorado is one of the best places to spend Thanksgiving because of the weekend outings, day trips and destinations within city limits. Here are some ways to spend the break:
• Hit the slopes at Keystone Resort. Bonus – kids ski free all season long.
• For a more luxe Thanksgiving meal option, consider Colorado’s most iconic hotel, The Broadmoor, which hosts its annual Holiday Champagne Brunch.
• Denver Rescue Mission’s annual turkey drive, which aims to put a bird on every hungry person’s table. The organization is always looking for volunteers to deliver turkeys as well as providing donations.
